Cookie Policy

Last updated: 29 June 2026

This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use on this site and how to manage your preferences, in line with the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines of 10 June 2021 and Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device. Together with similar technologies (pixels, local storage) they let the site work, remember your choices and — only with your consent — collect statistics or show you relevant ads.

By purpose we distinguish technical (necessary) cookies and statistics and marketing (profiling) cookies: the latter are set only with prior consent.

Technical cookies (necessary)

They are essential for the site to work and require no consent. These include:

  • madam_consent: stores your cookie preferences. First party. Duration: 180 days.
  • Infrastructure technical cookies (e.g. security and load balancing), session or short-lived.

Statistics cookies

They help us understand how the site is used in aggregate. They are set only if you enable the “Statistics” category. The following may be used:

Marketing cookies

They are used to measure advertising campaigns and show you relevant ads on other sites. They are set only if you enable the “Marketing” category. The following may be used:

  • Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.): conversion and remarketing cookies (e.g. _gcl_*). Data also processed in the USA.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): cookies such as _fbp for measurement and remarketing on Facebook and Instagram. Data also processed in the USA.

Third-party content and services

The “Location” page embeds a Google Maps map. To protect your privacy the map loads only after your consent or with an explicit click on the preview; at that point Google may set its own cookies. WhatsApp links, instead, open the third-party app or site without setting cookies on this site.

Consent Mode and managing consent

We use Google Consent Mode v2: until you give consent, Google tags stay in “denied” mode and set no profiling cookies.

You can give, change or withdraw consent at any time from the banner or by clicking “Cookie preferences” in the site footer. You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy; the version with the most recent date is the one in force. For the processing of personal data, see also the Privacy Policy.
